Enduring Power Of Attorney

Enduring Power of Attorney (EPAs)

An Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) is a legal document that allows you to nominate somebody that you trust to look after your affairs in the event that you become mentally incapacitated at some point in the future. Once an EPA is drawn up, it remains dormant and it is only activated if your Doctor certifies that you no longer have the capacity to manage your own affairs.

An EPA is something you may never need to activate but having it gives great peace of mind. We have extensive experience in the following areas;

  • Advice in relation to the Protection of Older and Vulnerable People

  • Capacity Issues

  • Advocacy Issues

  • Capacity/Advocacy Presentations

  • Nursing Home Support Scheme

  • Ward of Court Applications

  • Presumed Capacity

  • Diminished Capacity

  • Family Member Assistance

“Thanks so much for looking after everything over the past two years. Dad was so lucky to have found you and I’m grateful for that .” - Jenn
